Empowering youth to become curious ambassadors for the environment through the arts.
Ocean Protection Advocacy Kids (OPAK) is a youth education organization aimed at teaching kids about the environment they live in while simultaneously providing a skillset of advocacy through the arts.
This summer OPAK is running a 4 week marine science, arts and advocacy program in Harwich, MA for 10-12 year olds. Each week will highlight a unique marine theme like estuaries or marine megafauna. The program will have weekly field trips and guest lectures from scientists and community activists. Prices vary by week (limited scholarships available).
