The Birth of Shellfish: Explore the Harwich Shellfish Lab!
Join us on a tour of the Harwich Shellfish Lab to learn how oysters and clams are farmed on Cape Cod. Explore a real lab and meet its head scientist while studying the local food web! Students will also get the opportunity to create their own shellfish art and see what ocean advocacy is all about.

Citizen Science: Study water quality and discover plankton at a local estuary!
Join us on an adventure into a local estuary to conduct some super cool chemistry experiments that will help determine the quality of the local water! All results will be sent to a global water monitoring database. We will then put down our goggles and build our own plankton nets to help us discover the microscopic world in the water.

A Day in the Marsh: Walk with crustaceans and learn about their anatomy!
Become a marine biologist for the day and wade through a marsh while learning about some of the world's oldest creatures. See how climate change and horseshoe crabs have more in common than you might expect. And even hear from a local expert on how we can help protect the Cape's marsh land.

A Day at the Museum: Visit the Museum of Natural History and get a guided tour of the flats!
See just how cool it can be to be a museum curator by designing your own museum exhibit after visiting the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. Experience a guided walk of the Museum's renowned marsh land and flats and then see all of its creatures up close in the Museum's aquarium!

Beached Seals: Take a guided hike with the seals in Truro!
Join us and the Center for Coastal Studies for a day you are sure not to forget as we take a hike out to a seal haul out and learn all about the local seal population. Have your senses ready to hear, see, and smell these wonderful animals. Finish this great hike just like Jack Frost and learn how to sketch the beauty of a Cape Cod landscape!

Sail with the Whales: A day trip full of fun facts, science and a boat ride on Stellwagen Bank!
Join us for a Whale of day and sail with the Dolphin Fleet in Provincetown. There will be multiple speakers, some megafauna art and a few activities that will send you home in awe. Not to mention we will have a great scavenger hunt for the kids to complete on their ride up to P-Town and you will not have to worry about parking for driving in summer traffic!

Trash Talk: Explore a Waste-to-Energy Plant and Spin with MMA's Wind Turbine!
Have you ever been curious about where all of our trash goes? Spend a day with OPAK and learn all things trash (and recycling). We will travel off Cape to tour the SEMASS waste-to-energy plant and then stop at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy on the way home to see renewable energy at work. There might even be some trash art....

Beach Day: Illustrate the impacts of Marine Debris with From the Bow Seat and participate in a local Beach Clean Up!
Come learn just how much plastic there is in the ocean and what we can do about it. Get ready to pull your sleeves up and get your hands dirty while participating in a beach clean up and then use your findings to create a fun piece of art. From the Bow Seat will be with us to talk all things art and debris.
